Getting to KNOW YOU, la la la laaa la laaa laaa
Hi everyone! I just added my pin to the map. My name is Stacey and I am from a little town just east of Houston, Texas, USA...right on the Gulf Coast.

As for my screen name. . . the one I usually use was taken so I had to come up with something else, and that was just the first thing that popped into my mind. I had been on the phone with my little brother and he was in a goofy mood and called me "Sista-ta-ta". I just shortened it. (He had been watching the stand-up comedy of Jeff-fa-fa Dun-ham. . . Laughing)

working night shifts
When I worked night shifts, I treated them as if they were days. I would eat breakfast on my way to work, eat my lunch around midnight, then eat dinner whenever I could. I would pack salads and veggie sticks, the frozen dinners, or pack healthy leftovers to take with me. If all else failed, I kept stuff to make a quick sandwich and fruit cups.

Summer B.E.A.C.H. Challenge!
GO YELLOW SUN E BEACHERS!!!

Well for my challenges, hopefully I'm not too late. I did try the new Smart Ones fruit sensations. . . it was Orange Oriental Teriaki Chicken. It was pretty good - especially for a microwave meal! I brought it again for lunch today.

I am also teaching my 8-year old Tae-Kwon-do. I haven't taken the class in over 9 years, but I dug out my old gear and books. It's loads of fun being able to share that experience with her. Once it cools down a bit, hopefully I can teach her badminton. I used to love playing that too.

I feel lonely, I` too fat to have friends.
Oh, I'm so sorry you feel that your weight is keeping you from having friends. If the friends you had are going to judge you just because of some extra pounds, they aren't worth having anyway. If you want to lose weight, do it for you. . . not for them. The first step is to talk to a doctor. They can recommend eating plans and exercise that will work best. They also can keep track to make sure you are losing at a healthy pace or figure out why you aren't losing. Just set small goals and don't get discouraged. I've been trying for 2 years now, and have only just now seen the scales tip in my favor. But it took lots of bloodwork and journaling before we got a combination that worked for me. (((hugs)))
