Married mum in her mid thirties from Yorkshire, who wants to lose a little bit of weight and get back to what she weighed when she got married.
Biggest problem is finding enough time to get enough exercise as I work and have a three year old son, and not very much money.
I'm trying to go from 70kg/154lb to 61kg/134lb hopefully by the end of May when I'll be thirty four. If it takes longer though, it takes longer - although I'd like to get there before I turn 35.
I'm not following any specific diet plan, just a sort of more healthy eating kind of thing. White bread and pasta switched for wholemeal and reduced in portion size. Skim milk rather than semi-skimmed. Trying to up my protein intake too to help build some muscle.
No food is entirely off limits, but cakes sweets and chocolate are just going to be treats now - not things to be eaten every day.
I've joined the gym at the local university where I studied (10 years ago) and go 3 or 4 times a week. I'm doing a 50/50 mix of weights and cardio at the moment.
I'm aiming to keep my cals below 1800 a day, which should hopefully get me a slow steady weight loss of about 1.5 lb a week.
