I've been on a diet since 1965 - NO, don't laugh, really I have! As soon as I left school, went to University and gave up sport, there was a problem!

I have mostly, not always, held my weight around 62kg (136 pounds) but after a pulmonary embolism, foot surgery, and TWO extended overseas trips to the USA and Canada - BOOM! 108.4kg or 240 pounds!

Now I'm halfway on the long journey back to the human race! I HATE being fat and can't wait to dive into my extensive wardrobe and have some things that actually fit. I've been living in a pair of jeans that cost 99c on eBay since May 2011.

Walking my two Rottweilers gives me exercise, and I get a bit more taking them to obedience each week. Looking forward to starting a dog obedience instructors' course next Month. Other than that, I am a keen photographer and love to travel, particularly to the USA. My dogs are named Montana and Dakota!

CHANGED FROM DUKAN TO ATKINS, MUCH BETTER NOW!
Hi all,

I found Dukan great during the attack phase, and reasonable but inconsistent for a few months afterwards, but after 5 months or so of 100% sticking to the rules, my loss just stopped. Crying or Very sad

Even when we went on an interstate holiday I doggedly stuck to my diet, stayed in an apartment with a kitchen and didn't eat out. After six weeks of stagnation I switched to Atkins and am now loving my food. And after a month I'm 4.5kg (10 pounds) lighter!

Gotta love Atkins! Bad Grin
