In January 2013, I became a Certified Personal Trainer, and I am also a Professional Organizer - weird combo, right?!? Really, they're both just dealing with clutter - body clutter and home/office clutter! I love what I do.

I post (hopefully!) helpful tips and inspiration about health, fitness, and organizing.

I record every bite I eat, because if I don't I overeat. Sounds lame, but there you have it. I stay at about 1600 calories/day, and try to eat a bit less during the week so I have extra calories for the weekend. My food journal is paper and pen - I don't use FS for that. It works for me, physically and psychologically.

I eat fairly "clean" - organic fruits and veggies and dairy when possible, fresh food (not packaged), generally avoid preservatives, food coloring, etc. Having said that, I have a weakness for Reese's cups. ;-)

I am on FS because it is interesting and I learn things!

Weight Watchers uses a formula that includes the calories, fat, and fiber in the food. Having said that, I think it comes down to ABOUT 60 cals/point. It's been several years since I used WW, so this info is not based on the latest version.

I can't do it
You absolutely CAN do it, so why aren't you? To me, that's the question. What excuses are you using? What needless temptations are you exposing yourself to? Make a realistic list of what "success" looks like to you and think about how to make it happen - and then, MAKE IT HAPPEN. Small steps.

Binging on chocolate and water
And - "feeling like" eating chocolate does not necessarily equal actually eating chocolate. Some substantial, healthy food may help you over the craving.
