Hi, everyone! I am a 53 year old female. After being married for many years, I am now divorced and single.
I have 6 grandchildren.
I have battled with food & weight all my life, never really over weight, but an emotional eater.
Started Atkins about 12 years ago, and have been doing Low Carb since then.
For me it is the healthiest way to eat to control my weight, and manage my eating, and for me, if my I am not in control with food, my whole life is out of control. and I cannot tolerate that feeling.
I exercise 5 days a week. I love to walk and jog. I have my own Fitness Room in my home, with a weight machine also.
I am semi-retired, and at a new place in my life. I work 12 hour shifts at a Retirement Community, very part time.
God is the Center of my life. I came to know Christ in a very personal way, while going thru my divorce. Life's low points have a way of bringing us to our knees, and realizing,I can't do this alone anymore.

I don' know if you are doing this, but it helps to log all your food here, so you can see exactly where you are at, and if you need to up or lower anything.

Arbonne Fitness Essentials
Does anyone use the Arbonne Fitness Essentials, shakes, bars, supplements, etc. And if so are you having any results, and do you like them?

Do you eat breakfast? How important is it?
I have not been a breakfast eater since I started running in the morning! I love my cup of coffee, do a little laundry, check my e-mails, and then off with my exercise. It has been working for me for a long time. On my work days, my first meal is about 11AM. I drink some coffee on the way to work. The thought of food in the morning does not agree with me.

I just can't get into eating the morning
I also never eat breakfast, I have my coffee, in the AM, and then I exercise. And do not eat till about 12:30 or 1:00. Everybody is different and you have to find what works for you. And that means thinking outside "The Box".
