Does anybody else hate shopping for pants/jeans?
I always over-order online and return what doesn't work. I can leisurely try things on at home (three or four times if I need to). I can even order three different sizes and lengths in one style if I'm not sure. Old Navy is good for that. You can return plus-size clothes via mail for free. Keep in mind that "not fitting" is rarely a matter of size and more a problem of fit. There are some pants that are never going to look good on certain body types no matter the size.

just for today I will not.......
I will not feel like having a "hard day" or a "long day" entitles me to eating something bad for me (candy bar, chips, fast food). Every day is hard if you're doing your job well, and all days are technically the same length. That doesn't mean I get pie!

BMI
I am morbidly obese! Imagine being told that you're so obese that it's deadly. I'd give anything for plain, old obese. Labels suck
. Especially when you've already made the positive choice to do something about it.

Over Weighing yourself
The jury is out on whether it is better to weigh yourself daily or just periodically. Some will tell you weighing daily can help realize if your are eating too much salt, overdoing it some days, etc. Others will say weighing daily is just self torture. It's all according to the person. Is weighing daily helping you realize bad habits or is it just making you crazy? If it's just discouraging you then pick another daily habit!

What was your turning point?
I received test results, and I was told I had high triglycerides. It was embarrassing. I used to be able to smile defiantly at my doctor when the tests came back clear in spite of my weight. I don't know why I was so proud of that...
