SO far I lost 50lbs and reached my goal of 175lbs a month ago and i'm still dropping. I just set a new one at 160lbs but as i'm lifting now I may re-evaluate as I go.
Now i've started weights to put muscle back on and burn off the remaining fat. I aim to get to about 5% fat if i can. Any less 2-4% is the minimum what the body needs and i feel no need to go lower.
After that it will be maintenance only.

Doing well now but need buddy and future lifestyle change help.
Hey everyone.
I've been using this site for monitoring my calories and weight and it is a useful tool.
Lost 34lbs in a year so far from 220 and looking to get to a fighting weight.
I'm sure a lot of us have been there before, we do lose the weight but then after a few weeks or months we get complacent and life and work take over again and we gain again.

Right now i'm doing good. I'm doing an hour of cardio almost every day and have no more than 1800cals. Running is my preferred pain. I'm in between work so i have the time.
But when I do start working again is the problem time.
The balance has always been a problem for me. I am very focused right now and I want/need this to BE my lifestyle of being healthy because i feel so good and full of energy.

So if anyone out there wants a buddy please add me, the more the merrier and keep going because you are all worth it Smile

You need to research HIIT High Intensity Interval Training http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-intensity_interval_training
IF you have been an hour on the machine then try incorporating some of these in.
But not every day, the body would probably need a bit longer to recover at first.
