I am a 57 year old woman with an underactive thyroid. I haven't been really serious about loosing weight in the past, but it's time to get serious.
I am a lab tech, so my job doesn't require any physical labor, but lots of sitting. I don't like the way I look in a mirror, or the way my clothes feel. I want to lose at least 15 lbs by the end of June. I don't know if it's possible, but I'm going to try.
As for exercise, I'm not a fan, but I need to get with it. I bought a stationary bike, and put it together last night. I went to ride it this morning, but found I have to stop an by a seat pad. The seat is a bit hard on the girl bits.
My diet is consisting of lean protein, vegetables, fruit, and yogurt for dessert. If anyone has any tips for eating, please feel free to suggest away. I am open to any and all suggestions.
