I was in great shape in the Army. As a real estate agent, I put on 50 pounds of fat. Now, I'm going to school to become a registered nurse (don't I look like a nurse?!:) Anyway, I thought if I'm going to be helping people get well, I should start by setting a good example of healthy living. So, I started working out again and eating healthy. I plan to do it for the rest of my life.
I did my first full marathon in Feb. It was harsh, but I finished. Better training will help me come in sooner on the next one. I really want to start triathlon training, but school keeps me so busy. I'm definitly doing it after I finish school - only one year left to go.
My workout schedule is usually P90X and running. I get distracted in gyms and end up talking the whole time. So, I don't do the gym thing anymore. P90X is an awesome workout. I've been doing it for about 3 years now, and I am still getting stronger and faster from it...plus I run more than Forest Gump.
