Potato Chip LOVERS Read This!
My hubby is a chip addict, and I NEVER had them in the house before I moved in with him 5 years ago. I also love them but can't stop once I start, but he buys about 3 bags a week! I found a microwave chip maker at Pampered Chef that is terrific! We slice the potatoes with their Ultimate Mandoline, place the slices on paper towelsand sprinkle with salt. Then press, press, press the water out of them with more paper towels and layer the slices on the 2-level chip cooker and zap in microwave. Yes it is labor-intensive but worth it! It takes quite a few times to get the cooking time just right, and they will be really crunchy the longer you cook them. PC also makes a BBQ rub that I sprinkle on mine for BBQ chips!

Artificial Sweeteners
I also find that real sugar makes me crave more sugar and overeat or cheat, so I try to avoid it. On the occasion that I can't avoid it I eat as little as possible. Same with alcohol, one drink and I tend to make terrible choices, food-wise. I am realizing that sugar does that to me too. I have never been a fan of artificial sweetners, but how do I get my hubby off of them? He drinks gallons of diet cola per week, and that frightens me. He is diabetic so he doesn't have a choice between diet and regular sugar drinks, but I can't seem to get him to understand how horrible that is for his body and his diabetes. I hate to be a nag
but after all the literature I have provided and he won't listen, I have about given up!

Artificial Sweeteners
I don't have any artificial sweeteners in my diet at all, since discovering that they were the cause of my migraines. I use pure cane sugar on the rare occasion, but have heard from a dietician friend for the last 25+ years that they are VERY bad for your body. It isn't easy wening off them but so glad I did!
