500 gr. Just 1 pound in 1 month.
ugh... that is so demotivating.
I really wanted to lose like 3 kg, or AT LEAST 1. But no.
I was going to weight tomorrow, but decided to do it today.

It does make me feel sad. I don't know if it's because my period is starting this week, or if that's my real weight, and that everything I did right during this month just made me lose 1 single pound. I mean, the month was not perfect, and I did have my BAD days, but it wasn't THAAAT bad.

This sucks.

But I have to keep on this, or I'll NEVER get to my goal. right? It's better getting there pound by pound than staying just where I started.
So.. I'm not running towards my goal... I'm not walking... I'm not giving baby steps towards my goal... I am CRAWLING towards it.

And I really feel bad. But I don't want this feeling to overwhelm me. Right now I am dealing with a difficult fight within myself. If I let "that me" win (the defeated, sad, frustrated, disappointed), then I'll give up, and I'll start eating crap and not exercising at all, and gaining those 500 gr back in a couple of days.

I'm kind of a proud, stubborn person... but right now... I DO need support and some words that could cheer me up a bit. Even if it comes from strangers.

Friday. Today is finally Friday.
I got home, did a bit of cleaning, played with the dogs, and didn't really want to exercise. I stayed at the patio with the dogs for a while, relaxed a little, watched the people and cars passing by... and then... I wanted to step on the treadmill. "Just half mile", I thought. I got to the half mile after 6 or 7 minutes, so I thought "well... let's do the 10 minutes, no matter the distance I run". Reached the 10 minutes, with 0.740 mile or so... aaaaand then I thought "ok! I'm this close to reach the mile, just 1/4 more... pffft! Let's do the mile, whatever!". And yes, I did the whole mile jog in 16 minutes.
This is another mini victory. I wasn't going to exercise, didn't want to, but I DID A WHOLE MILE jog.

There are two things that I have come to love in the mornings.

On weekdays I bring for breakfast/mid-day meal either:
- a fruit salad: banana + strawberries + greek yogurt + granola + fiber + amaranth
- 2 slices of toast bread + cottage cheese + slices of strawberries + chopped nuts + agave syrup.

I LOVE to eat that in my work mornings. Both options are delicious. I guess you could use marmalade or jam instead of the sliced strawberries and syrup, but I like it this way, and maybe it gives me more control of the sugar I consume depending on the quantity of strawberries and agave syrup I use.

If you haven't tried any of these ideas, please do and tell me if you liked them or not. Also, if you have other options for breakfast that are easy to carry on for work, let me know!
