Kcal Help
Oops, sorry, I meant that it's your daily average, not monthly.

Kcal Help
My two cents on this (it drove me crazy as well).
When you are in your diet calendar and you click on View entire calendar, it gives you your averages for the month. This number is the number displayed for you on the "How does your diet compare?". I think that the what other people are eating is skewed, because sometimes I will see a post where someone says they are having this or that problem with points so I will go to look at what they have eaten, but they have only entered the banana they had for breakfast each day of the week. So those of us who journal everything we eat show up as having eaten more calories than the average of everyone on FatSecret.
Hope that helps!

Couch to 5k
Just a note of encouragement to all of you doing the Couch to 5k. It's a great program! I did it a couple of years ago and it was the on the best things I ever did for my health. I was depressed, 185 pounds and a couch potato with no muscles and no endurance. I couldn't even do the first week of the program, so I modified it to start with just 30 seconds of running for 2-3 minutes of walking. I went at a snails pace, but I eventually finished the program but continued to increase my running. It changed my whole life. I'm 50 pounds thinner (mainly from diet change, not the running alone) and I make healthier choices and have fallen in love with endurance sports!
I wish you all the best! You can do it!!!

Is it just me?
I really feel like WW was what I needed to make a lifestyle change. It made me pay attention to what I was putting in my body and the portion control lesson was really something I needed!
I've lost 40 pounds and have stopped going to the meetings, but I have stuggled with loosing since then and actually gained a few pounds after leaving. Mostly because of accountability. If I was able to hold myself accountable I wouldn't have been overweight in the first place!
But I'm learning. Smile

Is this correct for WW points, its from a site that was last updated in 2004
Those aren't correct. They use the questions now (job, age, height, etc). Though my mom would have be happier if those were the points! They are off by about 4 for her, but only 2 for me. Smile
