I'm a 24 year old medical student who years ago packed on a hefty freshman 15 and still hasn't quite recovered from the shock... Currently living in New Orleans - a city where any food you buy is loaded with butter, fat, oil, salt & cheese. It's delicious, but not the best of places to diet.

My Updated Goals:

By the end of Summer 2011: 220 lbs
By the end of Fall 2011: 185 to 190 lbs :)

Only Walking
ChildOfHope, great advice on upping the treadmill incline! I've actually forgotten about that setting - I've been walking on a 3.0% incline for the last 3 weeks, and I've lost about 7 lbs (all the weight I lost has been since I started dieting as well as exercise... exercise alone did nothing for me during those 2 weeks - well I'm sure it started building muscle but still no significant weight loss)...

I've been doing the entire work out on a 3.0% incline and it's getting easy there. I need to up it to 4.0%... More cals, more work, same time = more fat loss & more muscle gaine & more cals burned! Smile
