50 years old
Re-married on Ground Hogs Day last year to the most wonderful man in the world.
Quit smoking last year after 35+ years. Gained 30 lbs due to quitting and stress and possibly pre-menopause.
My total goal is 40 lbs.
My 1st little goal is to be down to a size 14 for May.
My biggest downfall is that I love food. I love the taste of food. I can and have 'grazed' all day long. This is the biggest and hardest part of dieting for me, is not being able to.
I have started walking every day, even though my hip and knee don't like it. I use the treadmill so that I know I am home when they give up. Right now I am at 2 miles a day and in 3 weeks I hope to be at 3 miles a day. I have found that reading while I walk actually helps me to walk faster and longer without much notice to the time it takes.
