Start Weight
123.5 lb
Lost so far: 2.9 lb

Current Weight
120.6 lb
Performance: gaining 0.3 lb a week

Goal Weight
112.4 lb
Still to go: 8.2 lb
Have been on a LCHF diet since October 2013 and could eliminate my migraine attacks which I had for the last 15 years. I don't take in grains nor refined sugar except on rare occasions. I want to go into ketosis to optimize my metabolic function this summer. My blood works have always come out excellent and am not clinically overweight, but I still want to drop my bodyfat %tage. I don't feel good with 24% bodyfat. I used to feel better when I was younger and had about 18% bodyfat. I also need to make time to do more exercise. I stopped going to the gym since Dec. 2013 due to lack of time (that's not a good excuse, I must admit). I want to incorporate bodyweight exercises at home to save time and gym membership.

How do you prevent loose skin?
You're very welcome Miss Susan! ... And also please check out MSM for its skin firming properties. I forgot about it till now. Wink

How do you prevent loose skin?
I take Hyaluronic Acid (Sodium Hyaluronate) and Fish Collagen in protein shakes. I also put Chicken Collagen in broths/chicken soups. I always eat chicken skin, and when possible fish skins. I get the collagen powders in bulk from PureBulk. I don't know if it's really going to help, but to my understanding, as collagen is the protein of the skin, I nourish it that way from the inside. Gotu Kola is known to work from the inside and topically to support the collagen. The French Bayer department (SERDEX) had components of Gotu Kola patented to use in future skin firming cosmetics. They did the lab studies and probably had good results. Brasil nuts have lots of selenium which is supposed to keep the skin elastic. To stimulate blood circulations to the skin so that it gets the nutrients it needs which are circulating in the blood, and also to transport away from it all the accumulated slack, always do a hot and cold contrast shower at the end of your daily shower. Grapeseed Oil is astringent, so it should tighten the skin on the body, not only on the face.
