Hello, I'm Cat =]

I'm here lookin for a new support group to help me out. My family SUCKS at being supportive (in fact, they're always on my case about being fat...) but thank GOD for good friends =] But like a good bra, some extra support and a lil upward push is never bad ;) HAHA.

Why am I ninja-cat? Well, I'm enrolled in Taekwondo... started in September. And in a month's time, have seen about 3 pounds fall off. It's only a small win,but a win nevertheless. The club I'm in trains us HARD.... I can imagine it can only get better.

I'm a pescitarian (vegetarian, but eat fish)

I'm trying to get in shape for the Police Academy. Physical standards for a girl my age is: 1.5 mile run in 14 minutes. 35 sit ups in 1 minute & 18 push ups in 1 minute. I got a long way to go, but I KNOW I can get there :) Before I start running and stuff, I wanna lose about 15-20 pounds. Less weight to pack around & a smaller roll to sit up into.

Um, well... that's all for now :) Just ask if you wanna know anything else. :)

THe diet online??
what all is included in that book? Is it just a guide of "essential" things I need? Sorry for all the questions< i'm just gettin started.... I wanna make sure I'm doing it right.

I found online that type O is as such:

Type O typesshould basically stick to a high protein diet (including red meat), low carbs, and enriched with fruits and vegetables. They should limit the intake of wheat germ, whole wheat products, corn, and avoid dairy products and most nuts.

Type O types are commonly affected with hypothyroidism, high stomach acid (leading to ulcers), and thinner blood with greater resistance to blood clotting.

Kinda sucks for a vegetarian, but... I still eat fish & beans...and a lot of the veggie burgers & stuff have a lot of protien, so I guess I'll be ok...

THe diet online??
I'm looking online to find the specifics of the right for your type diet, so I (hopefully) won't have to buy the book. Does anyone know where I can find it?
