I am a 41 year old mother of 7. I have 6 daughters and 1 son. My oldest is 20 and married and my youngest just turned 1. I currently work for JELD-WEN inc as an accountant specializing in fixed assets. My husband and I will be celebrating 21 years of marriage in May. My goal is to get to a healthier weight so that I will be able to be more active with my family. I am so tired when I get home from my desk job that I can barely make dinner. I know that a lot of my problem is carrying over 300 lbs. I use to be quite active and fit. I did dance, race walking, aerobics, lifting weights, and swimming. Now I get winded and hurt just walking 2 blocks and can barely make it up the stairs some days. The fact that I haven't completely lost my flexibility, I can still almost touch my toes, gives me hope that I can lose weight and get back into shape. It isn't too late.

How does this work?!
Grapes are not just fructose. They have glucose as well with some varieties having more glucose than fructose. This is one fruit that diabetics are advised to be careful with so I don't see that it would be a good choice if following the GI method.

I personally wake up hungry and prefer to eat breakfast. I find that I am hungrier at night if I skip breakfast. Not everybody is the same though. My husband rarely eats breakfast and is not hungry in the morning. My mother in law gets sick if she eats too much early. Everyone has different metabolism and needs. You should try varying your meals and snacks to see what satisfies you AND lets you lose weight. Just know you are not alone with the evening hunger issue.
