I have struggled for years with my weight. My highest weight was 210 pounds. I feel like I have lost and gained the same 50 pounds three or four times. In 2013 I almost tipped the scale to 200 pounds, I was 199 and right then and there I made up my mind that something had to change and it was not just how I was eating but a whole make-over. I needed to change my mind set, I needed to not focus on my weight (the number) but focus on my health!
I started to do a lot of reading about how certain foods literally could be making you sick. I read everything I could get my hands on about the dangers of sugar and also how inflammation in our bodies are responsible for so many illnesses. I have been following an eating plan that reduces inflammation and have cut out ALL sugar (even substitutes!)
And also I started taking a weight loss supplement that I have to say I am really impressed with. It is all natural and has no stimulants in it. For the first time in years I feel better then ever.
But the reason why I joined FS is because I do need to work on getting more exercise and am hoping I can get the support here for that.

Books that changed your life!
For me it was Who Moved My Cheese by Dr Spencer Johnson . No it is not about weight loss but it really changed how I looked at everything in life. Great book I highly recommend everyone read it Smile

New here but not new to weight loss :)
Hi everyone!
I just found this site yesterday, until then I had never heard of it. So far I really like what I see.
For the past year I have been giving other people support, help and encouragement to get healthy when I realized I was needed some myself.
Although I can talk health to other people and help them to eat better and take care of themselves I found I was not always following my own advice. So I decided I needed to look for a place where I could get the same kind of help and support I have been giving to others.
I think it comes from being a mother, I always put myself on the back burner!
I do eat right and I have figured out what works for my body and what does not but I lack in the motivation to really take things a step farther, like exercise! So I joined a couple of the challenges here in the community and I am really hoping this is exactly what I need to get myself on a good fitness track!!
