I'm 52 & I've been married to my wonderful husband for 3 years now. This is a second marriage for each of us. Between us, we have 6 kids & 6 grandkids. I've been following a plant-based diet (for the most part) for almost a year now, after seeing Dr. Furhman on a PBS special, and I feel great! It hasn't been easy though since my husband is basically a 'meat & potatoes' kind of guy who isn't fully commited to give up his unhealthy way of eating..he is trying though.

My goal is not only to lose weight, but to live a longer, healthier life without the need for prescription drugs. I'd like to connect with people who also share this goal.
