I am a 30 year old mother of two beautiful girls. I found the love of my life at the age of 16 and we are still growing and learning together in this crazy thing called life. I've been overweight my entire life. Obese before I was a teenager. About 7 years ago I weighed around 250 lbs, I had some success with weight watchers but once I couldn't pay for the meetings, I lost my mommentum and went backwards. After my second pregnancy in 2011, I was back up to 230 lbs. A local gym ran a weight loss competition starting January 2012. My husband and I were both selected to participate. Durning that time, I learned about balancing diet with exercise to get results that will last a lifetime. It was amazing! I lost 36 lbs in 16 weeks and finished in 6th place. My husband managed to lose 50 lbs in that time and walked away with the $1000 prize :) It's been a year since the end of that competition and I've managed to maintain during that time. Up 5 lbs, down 5 lbs, but staying right around 185. I'm proud of my progress but now I want to go the rest of the way. I'm ready to finish my journey.

Shakeology
I do take a multivitamin daily, but not a mineral supplement. What is that about? I think I drink enough water, Lord knows I spend enough of my workday in the bathroom, lol. The only other thing I can think to try is to eat more calories. I am staying within 1500-1800 calories during the week. Weekends are more challenging but I don't think they are bad enough to throw me off that badly. I'm very sceptical about upping calories though. I suppose, if nothing else works I will have to give it a try. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge with me Smile

Shakeology
Thanks for the advice everyone. It was the promise for extra energy that got me wanting to try the shakes. I eat a lot of fruits and veggies and I drink my protein shakes after working out. I'm currently 3 weeks into INSANTIY and have gained 7 lbs if you can believe it. Ugh! But I'm not giving up because I know there is no friggin way I gained 7 lbs of fat during that time. But yeah, feeling tired and weak too much. Any suggestions for getting some energy back? I'm living the healthies lifestyle I ever have and but I'm not feeling energized and healthy like I thought I would.

Shock I was totally mind blown when I seen how much they want you to pay for this shakeology stuff! I hear great things about it and was thinking about giving it a try. But, holy cow. Any Shakeolgy users out there? Is it well worth the money? Thanks!
