IBS ... do you have it?
Yes, yes and kinda. I've never been fully diagnosed with IBS, but I have had all the symptoms all of my life. My IBS was brought on by a genetic disease that I also have called Charcot Marie Tooth disease. My mom has been properly diagnosed with IBS, but I have had a lot of whacked doctors saying it was either NORMAL or abnormal and did no further tests. I mainly have the latter issue, but when I get stressed out or severely upset I'll be running to the bathroom for weeks on end before it goes back to my "normal"

Right now I don't take anything for it, but I know when I was more active and eating healthier I had it more in control. As one of the others said before, bland and low-fat foods really helps.

New one
It's very disturbing to go through that. I don't think being bigger is good for anyone. It's hard to keep up the self esteem this way. I wish you luck with this. I know we both have a ways to go. =)

Looking for diet buddies
Hi I am Natasha, I just joined this site.

I have already put up a small introduction about me earlier in the forums. But here is a little more. I am 20 and live with a wonderful guy in NE Georgia. After several failures before this it dawned on me that I need all the encouragement and even threats (friendly, of course) that I can get to keep me up with this change that I want. So I thought it would be great to have either an online or even offline buddies to keep up with and motivate each other to continue strong to lose this weight. So if anyone is interested, please message me. I would be delighted to help and be helped out with this. Smile

I learned my lesson about diet pill
I have tried that stuff, I could not stop my heart from beating fast for over a couple of hours. I almost passed out. They also hinder your calcium intake. I am glad you are better!
