I am 47 y/o mother of 3 and grandmother of 3. I work in my home as a caregiver to a mentally challenged senior and I babysit a 2y/o boy. I enjoy family activities. I have been morbidly obese since I was 25 I believe going on the pill really jumpstarted my weight gain but I have been doing nicely at managing to gain more weight over the years. I have very poor eating habits and am definitely addicted to carbs. I am trying the gi diet in hopes i can stablize my blood sugar and be successful at getting healthy.
