I've reached that part of life I call the Geezer Club. I love cats, so working on my cattitude. Also, I'm in the process of writing my first novel. I live in the Pacific Northwest of America. I've been a part of another weight loss social media site now since October and lost 17 pounds. Each weight loss site has its own features and plusses and minuses. Thought I'd try FatSecret to mix things up. I want to lose another 20 pounds by summer (or even fall) 2014. I've come to accept the fact that I lose weight at a snail's pace. But that's okay. "They" say that's the best way for permanent loss. Sometimes it gets discouraging, but as long as I'm not going backwards, it's all good. I like feeling lighter and skinnier, the way my clothes fit, the way I look in the mirror. I'm kind of shy, not really a social butterfly, but I love to read about other people's weight loss successes.

Several Technical Questions
EXERCISE HISTORY
Does anyone know if there's a link somewhere to see your personal exercise calorie burn history? It would be helpful to see a bar graph for this. Not only helpful but an incentive to keep doing more.
THAT LITTLE RED/GREEN BAR
Also, does anyone know what that little red or green bar beneath our avatar is supposed to represent? Is there a page that explains it? If not, why not?
SAVED MEALS
Also, I have a lot of problems with the "saved meals" feature. They show up on the right sidebar, but when I click on the left sidebar to access the drop-down "add" list, they don't appear. Plus there's no way to tailor some of the nutrient information on some of the items, so we get false reading in the total calorie count.

Greetings from a Newcomer
Joined FS yesterday. Learning my way around the site. Happy to be here. My goal is to lose 20 pounds for health reasons and yeah, to feel and look healthy as I can. I'm what you'd call an elder with a 20-something person inside asking "What happened?"

Buddies are great to have (I like the term better than "Friends" -- too much like Facebook which I dropped awhile back) Just saying I'm kind of shy and don't comment or post much, but I enjoy reading about other people's strategies, advice, and successes.

I was going through the forums and couldn't find anyone's take on this burning question: Do you eat your exercise calories or not?
