I'm a mother of three small high energy children and a whirlwind staffordshire terrier. I have chronic depression and insomnia, arthritis caused by a dislocated patella in high school track. My children are my motivation. I want to play with them and my dog and not be winded after five minutes. I'm close to thity and would love to get to 150 pounds before they grow out of wanting to play with me. My husband, my parents, and my friend Kevin have been tremendous support but I'm constantly second guessing myself so any positive influences are dear to me. I've been heavy since I was around 12 and it took me reaching 320 pounds before I snapped and finally got angry at myself enough to do something about it. It's been a struggle for me because I don't see the weight loss, my body still looks the same to my eyes.
This app has been a ton of help for me, its kept me from snacking. When I reach for a piece of pizza I check my app and put it down after I see the calories. I've cut down on my snacking to just cinnamon roasted almonds. I eat more salads and greek yogurt. This summer it got so hot I was glad to see the oikos greek FROZEN yogurt in chocolate, so I still got ice cream. I'm looking to find friendsto share my journey with.
