I started this December 31st last year (2011). I just made up in my mind that I was going to get in shape, not just for looks but for being healthy because there are a lot of health issues in my family and I do not want to have to deal with any of it.
I am a 36 year Happily married mom of four. I have been married to a wonderful man for 18 years who is very supportive of all I do. Since starting in Dec. to date have lost 32lbs.!! I feel and look great. I watch carefully what I eat but not really dieting just changed my thoughts about food. I watch portions and mindless snacking. I workout at home with various videos 6 days a week. I was sceptable at first about putting too much info on here but at this point I feel like I need and want to give support to whoever can be helped that struggle with fitness issues.
I was a skinny child and teen but after 4 kids I gained a lot of weight and just got lazy and let life get hectic and the pounds just came! I wished I would have taken pics of myself from the beginning thru this point, but I will try to find old ones and new ones to post since I am opening up.
Looking for buddies to help and for support, so just know no matter where you are in your journey you can do it! Just keep at it and don't give up! :)
