Click on the recipes tab. On the far right of that page will be a list under the heading Browse Recpes Deeper. Go down the list & there will be a choice for Low Calorie Recipes. Open that & it will be broken into calorie ranges, under 100 calories is the first one.

How to substitute the delicious fatty foods with healthy delicious ones
Pick a form you can have--for example, dark chocolate is satisfying in small amounts. I put a 1/2 tbsp of hersheys cocoa (5 cal) in my coffee, or mix it in yogurt. It gives me the chocolate taste without the calories. Depending on the diet you follow, find some of the 40 cal fudgesicles, or 100 calorie swiss miss or other brand of chocolate ice cream pops. Intensely chocolate flavor for a small caloric price. There's also jello sugar free fat free pudding--mixed w/ skim milk, it also gives you 1/2 a dairy serving. Chocolate is actually good for you, if you avoid the things like cake & donuts & eat it in small amounts.

I am new here - question about recording a recipe on the food tracker
If it's your own recipe, that you built & saved on this site, or someone else's recipe that you saved to your cookbook, open the "My Cookbook" link on the right, & when you find the recipe title, under the description should be an option to "add to food diary." That will allow you to put it on the tracker (only from the website, I can't add my own recipes or even view them properly from the Android App on my phone). If it's directly from a recipe from the site, there is a link under the spot for the picture that says "add to food diary". That also works from the app.

Hoppy Easter, Everyone!
How do you make a gluten free Jello cake??? (My daughter has Celiac, & my mom is making a dessert that only has a little flour in the crust, & she went & bought GF flour to make it!!).
I actually have to work, so I'm going to my mom's after work--she'll have cold shrimp w/ her spicy cocktail sauce, cheese & crackers (which I'll avoid), ham, killer baked beans, (the recipe starts w/ bacon & goes from there--I'm going to limit myself to a spoonful), veggies, fruit, her chocolate dessert, & jello beans (got the jello mold for those years ago, & it's always a big hit--I make sugar free & sugared ones, so everyone's happy). She's also going to have cream puffs, & I might have one of those. I'm going to try to avoid the candy--my diabetes is fairly well controlled, but if I let myself splurge, the reading goes way up.

Is the database down?
If you're talking about the website, & you want to go to a few days back (or forward) pick "my diet calendar" under my fat secret, & pick the day you want to go to (click on the calories #, & it will allow you to go to that page). It only allows you to go 7 days ahead, I'm not sure how many days back. If you're on today, when you go to the drop down menu, pick "other" & it opens the calendar up for you. Hope this helps. I personally haven't had a problem w/ the database, so I hope it's temporary.
