HI Folks,

Here I am again Peeps....... It has been a very long time since I've been on FS and to be honest I'm too scared to get on the scales as I know by the way my clothes are fitting that the pounds have piled on BIG TIME ....... Why now You ask??? ....... The truth is I went to the Hospital yesterday to see the Surgeon and to have a camera jobby done, they found out that my Hiatus Hernia has returned but this time with ulcers and erosions, both these problems need to be treated with medication. So in 6 weeks time (if healed) I'll be assessed for another operation ....... I know only to well that my weight has to come down to a reasonable level to be safe for the procedure ....... I've got to kick start myself into gear and make a big effort to lose the excess weight as I want and need to recover from the Op as quickly as possible to enjoy the coming summer months, my garden and last but not least my lovely gorgeous dog Roxxy ...... Must jump on the scales tomorrow morning and Yes I will post the results no matter how shocking, I have to commit myself to this diet if I want this Operation to succeed ........ Happy Dieting All ........

Slimming power of coconut oil
Hi to the last 2 posts
Thanks for your prompt replies.....As I've stated before I suffer with a Thyroid problem, and have weened myself off the man made med's ( basically they did nothing for me ) I lost my "Get Up And Go" and am looking for something to boost my metabolic rate, Can you cook with this? not that I fry many things, I normally boil, steam, grill or BBQ most foods.....Next time I go to the Health Store in Town I shall have a look at this product
Bye for now..... Maggy May x

Slimming power of coconut oil
Hi Draglist
Is this taken by you in the coffee as a drink or straight off the spoon?..... Do you do this purely for energy levels or does it have some fat burning properties.....Does it taste of coconut or has it an oily taste?.....I know I ask a lot of questions but I am very interested to know.....

Slimming power of coconut oil
Hi Peeps
A friend was telling me that if you eat a 1 Tbs of coconut oil Confused (can't imagine swallowing grease) before each meal its the best aid for losing weight.....but in my minds eye I would of thought that this was very high in calories, and would put on the weight!..... Anybody heard of this before? it's a new one on me..Rolling Eyes .. would be interesting to find out

5 Days no Drinking
Hi T
Join the "I Love To Drink" rowing boat on the sea of Wine, You are very much like the rest of us , everyday I drank wine with my evening meal and to be honest it was just routine/habit around 1 to 3 glasses daily cos hubby did .....If you've read my journal on this subject you know I'm doing the 5 day no drinking policy.....Low cal tonics, lemonade and dry ginger with ice or a slice, this weekend I'm going to buy from Aldi/Lidl those 100% red/white grape juice's and will be putting it in a carafe so at the BBQ they won't know I'm not drinking to much, 1 tipple of real vino and 1 of fake.....CLEVER or what!.....Just trying to give my liver a little bit of a chance to recover and hopefully loose some weight at the same time!
