Scared to weigh IN
Mrspembrick wrote:
Scared to weight in so frustrated... I've read the post of not being so hard on yourself, and not starting over but moving on. Its just so hard think I should have gotten it by now!Sad

I feel the same way...

It feels a little like a let down when you go away for a bit, and come back with a larger number.

I once promised myself I would only log into FatSecret if I could post a smaller weigh-in number. So for days, weeks, months even, I stopped logging in. And I stopped keeping track of my food and exercise. And that dreaded number didn't go anywhere but up.

So, I've decided that my weight really is just a number (it still looms and beckons, in many, many ways) but it really is more important how I feel.

And if FatSecret is going to help me feel better and look better, I'm getting over my irrational fears and weighing in more ofter, regardless!

Wii Games
Look into picking up "My Fitness Coach" for the Wii. The first one is great. It's like a DVD, but all the routines are tailored to your fitness levels and goals. There's upper and lower body workouts, plus cardio and yoga. (And since it's an "older" game, it's probably pretty cheap right now!)

Sushi
California rolls are always a good option. Good fats with the avocado. And sashimi is always a good choice. Salmon is a huge favourite of mine!

I find that I eat less at a sushi restaurant because everything looks so pretty and therefore I eat a lot slower, actually savouring my food. And when you eat slower, you will feel satisfied sooner.

And most places offer the option of having your rolls made with brown rice.
