My name is Lawrence. I'm 25 and have been dieting and exercising for 3 years. I was dieting hardcore for about 3 years until I turned 25, during my dieting period I lost about 70lbs and gained muscle, but I quickly gained it all back when I starting uncontrollably binging due to depression. I quit the happy pills and started taking control of my life again. I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism, i've began taking medication to correct this issue, which affects my metabolism. Since identifying my problem with food and emotional/protectionism eating, I've taken steps to change. I now do all the things I love and feared like roller coasters, rock climbing, boxing. Now I'm continuing my path with Fatsecret. I restarted my journey here being 360lbs which is the heaviest i've ever been last at the beginning of July 2013. I've lost weight already and have been on the best decline of my life! Be positive and always be yourself and you can never go wrong.

Please don’t make fun of me – Has anyone tried hypnosis to lose weight?
I dont know about everyone, but i've listened to suggestive hypnosis tapes and while doing them I certainly felt better. Visualizing goals is easier for me because I am a visual learner. It just depends on your capability to let go and listen completely to what the person is suggesting to you. Personally though, Intermittent fasting has brought me the best results. I've lost 13lbs in a month by eating better and fasting 1 day a week for 16-24 hours. i'm in my 2nd month now and I haven't officially marked my weight loss until I go to the gym but my home scale has changed 4lbs.
