I found out in Sept that I have diabetes. I am learning to control it with the help of my family and doctors. My doctors have put me on a 1200 calorie diet. Have I mentioned that I have never really been on a diet. I have lost a total of 43 lbs in over a year. I know, that is kind of slow but I am more likely to keep it off this way. I have joined and gym and find that I like working out. Although sometimes I need to get motivated. I really need to be more consistent with going to the gym but life seems to be getting in the way. Some times I think I need to hear:
You can do it!!!!!
I have a coworker that keeps telling me to get rid of my fat clothes. I have gotten rid of most of them but if I get rid of all of them I might not have anything to wear. She told me today that she think that I thought that I was really bigger than I actually was and that I still see myself that way. I have to think on that for a while. I am slowly replacing the clothes in my wardrobe. I discovered that I like shopping a little more. Who knows I may like it a whole lot more if I keep loosing the weight.
