I originally tried Atkins back in 2002. I lost 42 pounds in about 4 months (I no longer have my journals regarding that weight loss so I don't have specifics on time frame).
My wife and I ended up getting lazy and going back to our "don't care what we eat" ways and gained it all back and more.
Earlier this year we completely revamped how we handle life on a day to day basis. Not only are we back on Atkins, we are working out five days a week and are completely addicted to the physical changes. Inside and out feel and look so much different. Our health is better than we could have ever imagined.
We've come to realize it's not about just hitting a goal, it's about keeping and maintaining a life.
