How did you do in the month of December?
Look at my menu. I do eat healthy; most of my diet consists of

sirloin steak,
salmon,
shrimp,
protein bars
fiber bars
apples
eggs

It's working for me. I did enjoy some decadent things over t'giving, C'mas, New Years. But I didn't overdo it; I stuck to my diet most of the time (literally). I feel satisfied that I got enough treats.

I can lose 12-15 lbs/no. I'm pretty active and now that I'm on the thyroid meds and that is fixed, I'm good to go. I've been on this diet almost a year now.

What kind of diet are you doing? Do you like the food? Hey, isn't that really just so important to long term success anyway? Got to like the food.

Thoughts?

How did you do in the month of December?
I'll go first.

At the start of December, I was 199.2 and at the beginning of Jan I was 194.8. So, that's a loss of 4.4 lbs for the month. Worst month ever. I plan on losing the usual 12-15 lbs by the end of January. I never really over ate except for cookies and fudge on Dec 29-31. All my homeade stuff on the dining room table in lovely plates and dishes. I also made onion dip, pigs in a blanket, fancy cheeses and crackers, smokies in sauce, meatballs in sauce, cheese/sausage balls.......

There was a lot of good food here and I made it all -from Thanksgiving through New Years.

So only losing 4.4 pounds for the month; I'll take it and be glad because I'm back to my routine of being steady and committed and eating right with very very little cheating.

So how did you do? Be honest, we're all here to help each other.

Happy New Year, everybody. 2018 is going to be a great year; I know it. I'm so excited.
