Struggled with my weight ALL my life. Been on all sorts of diets, some, i've lost a small amount of weight and others nothing at all. I have a thyroid problem for the last 12 years, which was when i lost 7 stone in 9 months (a surgeon put me on the diet, as i wanted a tummy tuck) and because of this diet i am now on Thyroxine for the rest of my life.
I started weight watchers online back in 2007 and by 2009 i had lost 6 stone, i looked great, but i was only down to 11.4 and wanted to reach 9.5stone. So i continued with weight watchers, followed it by the book as i had done for the 2 years previous, but, i put on 3 stone. Was extremely depressed because of this and had to see a counsellor, but i ended up having a Gastric Band to help, but that was back in October 2010, but as of yet, i still havent lost a pound, infact ive put weight on. So upset, even though im going careful with what i eat. If i eat something naughty, as long as im within the calories for the day, im sure its fine. As you can imagine, i can't eat much anyway, i eat off a side plate, and have done since i started on weight watchers. I think perhaps my body has become used to eating very small amounts.
