Movement is difficult for me. Arthritis since my 20s, need both knees and one hip replaced. I would love to walk more (and want to find a way to do that) and I would join a gym or exercise program if my budget allowed, which it does not.
That budget also allows for inexpensive food, which translates to mostly carbohydrates. Animal protein is a luxury. Dairy and eggs cause great digestive problems.
But, being vegan has gradually been adding the pounds until I was obese. My jobs are sedentary and I simply have to get rid of the carbs and get moving, every day, no excuses.
I am here because I am not hungry enough to eat sufficient calories and I am not making myself eat enough of the healthy foods I have decided to eat.
