I am not a very strict dieter. I just started to count carbs, I do not weigh anything. For the most part, I just eat! But I try to eat somewhat-clean.
My goal is to hopefully motivate and inspire others to want to work out and get in shape, so I need to look the part!
We all go to a gym for different reasons, but the end goal is fitness, not fraternity. Remember: bars are made for socializing, gyms are made for exercising. So go in and PUSH yourself to your limits.
Adopting this kind of lifestyle can be especially difficult as you are forced to choose between social activities and bettering yourself. But with strong willpower and determination, I went from my original weight of 244 lbs @ the age of 36; down to 188 lbs(7.5% body fat) @ age 39.
Even if I do achieve my dream physique, because of the things I have
learned about nutrition, I will continue to eat clean and will be teaching anyone, that will listen, how to properly eat to better their futures as well.
I want to make it very clear that in order to achieve a lean physique
you must be willing to give up eating for pleasure and develop a ‘food
is fuel, not fun’ mind set.

2300 total calories a day
128g – 50% of calories from fats
173g – 30% of calories from protein
115g – 20% of calories from carbs
