Diagnosed with Gall Stones and a Fatty Liver early December after two bouts of violent vomiting and agonising pain. Now on a reduced fat diet & slowly losing weight while I wait for an operation. I can't do much high activity exercise because of a damaged ankle but try to swim one+ miles each week and a little time in the garden most days. Have lower fat spreads and cheese instead of butter and hard cheese, no biscuits, only one or two cakes a week, restrict myself to three chocolates once a week and have smaller portions of what I do eat. Still have two pints of beer three times a month. Being away from home and eating out makes it difficult to stick to calorie limit but provided that I don't do that that too much not to much of an easy.
