I make sure the avocado is really ripe-black skin- and I cut it in half, mash it up and take half of it and spread on a plate, then I salt it and spread a layer of sour cream over it, and then with about 3 pieces of low sodium bacon, I break up like they are chips and scoop the dip up and eat...I just love it. or crumble it up and use a spoon. it makes a whole meal for me and very filling! you can also make guacamole...just google a recipe...it adds lime juice, garlic and tomatoes or whatever you want really.
