Performance: losing 0.1 lb a week

Goal Weight

Still to go: 7.4 lb
My New Year's Resolution nine years ago (2011) was to drop at least 40-50 lbs and get down in the area of 215-220 where I would be a lot more comfortable and I did it in less than five months!

Now I plan to maintain a weight of about 215-220 going forward by eating right and exercising at least three times a week. If I could do it, you certainly can because I love to eat! Good luck everyone!

Goal #1: Drop 25 lbs by Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011. SUCCEEDED!
Goal #2: Reach 225 lbs by my birthday, May 29, 2011: SUCCEEDED!
Goal #3: Push for those last extra 10 lbs of weight loss by July 4, 2011: SUCCEEDED!
Goal #4: Stay between 210-215 until Christmas Day, 2011 and beyond: SUCCEEDED!
Goal #5: Maintain a weight of 210-215 for the entire year of 2012 and beyond. AND I PLAN TO DO IT!

Tattoo!!!
I second Hoser's advice. I have eight tattoos and each time I seem to add one because the prior one feels incomplete. I have the names of my girls tattooed on the insides of my biceps. It hurt like hell but it was a small sacrifice for the girls that I love so much. I got the idea from the Italian soccer players who all seemed to have the names of their children tattooed on the insides of their arms.

For a woman I don't know if that would be a good look. My wife has toyed with the idea of getting birds or butterflies added to her lower back piece with the names of our girls somehow incorporated into the drawing. Good luck with it and post photos after you get it done!

What plays the villain?
I will agree with pizza. I have still not taken it out of my diet, especially during lent, but I have limited my intake to only two slices or in a pinch a lean cuisine pizza that has much less fat. It would be a monumental challenge to get me to stop eating pizza altogether. I've stopped drinking soda and snacking late at night. You can't take everything away from me! HAHA

What motivates more- goal pic or current pic?
I think both can motivate. Looking at myself around New Year's in the photos we took from New Year's Eve I said to myself I am going to make this work this year. I cannot go through another year at this weight. And with no excuses, no distractions this year I have made the diet and the exercise plan work. Of course looking at photos from 4 years ago was initial motivation as well. I knew I could get back to the weight that I was in 2007 and I have been able to do it in 10 weeks. Now is the push to get back down to my H.S. weight of 215. I think it's possible sticking to a discipline. Good luck with your weight loss plan.

Calories
I think I'll just go with the reduction of the daily exercise by 500 for now. Or I will reduce my RDI by 500 to get a better idea of where I'm at each day.
