I am a retired grandmother with osteoarthritis. After a major surgery for hysterectomy a few years ago, my weight started to escalate to where I am now. I was overweight at that time, but now I have reached a place where I had never gone before. And I have an added problem of hypertension, which I have been keeping under control with an all natural method. I have so many allergies that I do not dare take medicines lightly. I nearly died from taking an antibiotic, as well as all NSAIDS, and now I try to go with all natural measures for eating and health. That is why I chose this diet, it is probably the umteenth (sp) diet I've been on, and they were all good, but the weight always comes back sooner or later. Hopefully, this is the one that will be my final answer. I know I have a long way to go, and I will trust in the Lord and believe I can accomplish this.

Adding Great Value Lentils to the Data Base (Wal-Mart brand)
I have tried numerous times to add the Nutrition Facts to the data base and it will not accept. I double checked these facts with -Calorie Labs at
http://calorielab.com/brands/beans/162, and this info is correct. The lentils in this data base seem way off, and I would rather use the info on mine.
Serving Size: 1/4 C dry (35g)(approx.3/4 C prepared)
Calories 80, Calories from fat 0
Total Fat, etc 0% down to Sodium which is 0% (and all the others have an enormous amount of sodium listed. Especially when just prepared in water only.
Potassium 320mg. Total Carohydrate 20g
Dietary Fiber 11g Sugar 2g
Protein 10 (etc., etc.) As I said it can be found here:
http://calorielab.com/brands/wal-mart-great-value-lentils/162/2003688

I am just going to skip this food on my list rather than use the ones on there as I did previously. It is just too many calories and too much sodium, etc.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Yours truly, Gloria DeNice
