I seem to be plateauing early. How do I break it???
Thank you mars2kids. I'll have to keep all of that in mind. Yes, it IS frustrating....and I tend to get frustrated and discouraged easily nowadays. But the other thing I should keep in mind is that my attitude towards this aspect in my life is something my kids will be seeing; so I need to stay positive....so that they can learn to do the same with everything in THEIR lives too. Thanks for the reminder.

"just the pipes being a bit back up"...that made me laugh. But yeah, you could be right. I just wish I could see results faster---but then again, I'm sure we ALL would.

I seem to be plateauing early. How do I break it???
I've only lost 5-6 lbs., so how is this possible??? Maybe I'm not doing enough?? Ok, this might not be "completely" true, but my logic says it is. Let me just say that I'm 4-months POST-partum. I was 146lb. when I got pregnant. I'm currently down to 140 (and seem to bounce around 137-141 for the past few weeks). What do I need to do to NOT get back in the 140s?

Background:
I have 3 kids, so it's not always easy; but I TRY to do 2 workouts a day. In the mornings, I either do a workout DVD (i.e., Jillian Michaels "30 Day Shred", "Shred it with Weights"...where I use kettlebells....or one of Leslie Sansone's walking videos) or workout on the Bowflex Xceed. At night, IF I can get a second workout in, I either do HIIT on the treadmill or workout on the Bowflex. (My husband does P90X on T, TH, and uses the Bowflex on MWF....so my workout depends on his schedule as well.)

I'm not a big breakfast person. In fact, I always feel sick whenever I eat a typical breakfast; but if I eat a typical "Filipino breakfast", I'll end up eating waaaay too much of everthing. The white rice would screw it up! I found that I really enjoy drinking shakes, so I try to drink those. My friend let us have a few bags of her Visalus shakes, and I used them up. I'm trying GNC's Lean25 Meal Replacement shakes now. I really need a new blender so I can make some green smoothies; but for now, I'm just doing meal replacement shakes. I don't normally eat a big lunch (unless we're travelling). At home, I like to eat a small thing of chicken salad or tuna salad. For dinner, I eat what I cook for everyone else because I have a hard time NOT eating it. lol BUT, I try to make sure I don't eat too much.

So what else do I need to do? And what should I add to my workout routine? I'd really like to tone up and get down to 125. At this point in time, though, it just doesn't feel like a reality. Anyway, sorry for such a long post. Just trying to give you as much info as possible. Hoping someone can help!
