I've done all this before but this time I'm serious. I can't keep doing this to my body. I started two weeks ago (June 8, 3013) and, so far, have lost 8 lbs. I'm taking it ten lbs at a time....first big goal is at 50 lbs. I usually start losing interest about then and gain it back. Not this time. This time, I'm keeping it off.

where is everyone?
I felt the same way, Mamabear, and almost left. I posted it and also that I'd decided I'd just post for me. It would help me stay on track and feel like I was accomplishing something. Then people started to answer back and now I have several buddies. FS doesn't always send reminders and I don't see most people unless they're a buddy. So don't give up. There are plenty of us who will support you. We can do this together!!

We have a Y about 12 miles away. But I'm not ready to get into a suit yet. Maybe next summer. I know you'll enjoy it for me, Mary.

Sorry about your back, Mary. But I know you'll be feeling better fast. You're doing great with your walking, too. Is it hot where you are? It's been around 93 here with extremely high humidity. I wish I could do the water thing. Hope it's cooler your way. Keep at it. You're doing great.
