I was born in the East End of London, England, now living in the South of England, am 57 years old, 5' 11", married, have 3 gorgeous grandsons from one of my two children and currently partner my husband in our own small business. Not fond of exercise, unless I have a dog to walk (sadly lost my last one in Feb 2013), although I love watching rugby union (go London Wasps!!). Am a fully qualified Queen of Displacement Activity, meaning I have extensive experience in putting off stuff I don't want to do until the last possible allowable minute. 👑😃

Thank you for the laugh!! I hope DIET recovers soon. Perhaps a spell at the Put It Behind You and Move On rehab spa will do the trick! Interpol have had a warrant out for his assailants for decades, but the slippery suckers have a lot of people worldwide willing to take them in. They'll get theirs one of these days when everyone wakes up to how dangerous they really are. Until then a global BOLO is in place and slimming sites are organising programs to keep our calories under control lest they panic and run amok. :0)

Does the weight of a banana you write up include the peel?
Not usually. Calorie values are calculated on edible matter only unless otherwise stated - I always check whether that relates to cooked or uncooked weights in appropriate circumstances. Anything that can't be eaten can't be burned or stored by your body so therefore has no relevance calorie wise.

Weight Gain...
Water retention sucks. You'll probably find that it will all disappear in a few days. My advice is do not weigh daily if that is what you are doing; just do it on the same day each week around the same time. You are really doing well, so don't be discouraged by this blip. Just keep to the guidelines and it should all go back on track for you. Your meeting organiser will help you if you go to one, but if not, Glaun is right that there is a lot of info on this site. You're not alone in your journey is the main thing so don't despair. You will get there. :0)
