Trying Out Different Weight Loss Sites.....New to FS
Started out on my food plan and life style changes, on August 26, 2013. My starting weight was 242 lbs., it's now 207.5. I'm pleased with the loss of 34.5 pounds so far. My goal weight is 150 lbs.

Started using FITBIT and it's website, from the beginning, of my healthy living plan. Not only do I need to lose the weight, but needed many changes in other areas of my life as well.

First off, needed to get into the habit of getting more exercise each day. I have two wonderful doggies, so, a minor change of increasing the length of their 5 walks each day was easy to do, and the doggies love it as well. I'm retired, so not much pressure on me anymore!!! One walk each day, we get into the car and drive to one of our near by parks, not sure who enjoys the parks more, me or the fur babies!!

Between arthritis and the extra pounds, walking is, so far, the only real exercise I can do for right now. And it's working, will adjust as I go along.

The FITBIT tracker has literally changed my entire attitude towards eating, and my sedentary life style. Once I log all of my food each day, and FITBIT does it's breakdown of fat, carbs and proteins, including showing me how many calories I burn each day in all of my activities. FITBIT shows me the key to each days intake and calories burned, or referred to as "minus calories" for the day. This fact has kept me on tract, I know I have to have a minus of a certain amount of calories each day to lose weight. It's right there in front of me in black and white. And that's exactly what I need each day!
