I am 46, divorced (again) and trying to lose 110 lbs. I live with my two dogs, Sparky (a Jack Russell Terrier boy) and Keeva (a black Labrador Retriever girl) who would be very happy to increase our activity. I am motivated to lose the weight to help improve my physical and mental health, which have both been a challenge in recent years. Eating well as a single person is a challenge.

I want to keep my weight-loss at AT LEAST 1 pound per week and more if possible. This will become more a of challenge in the winter and as I get closer to my goal. This is NOT a diet, it is a lifestyle change. Eating real food for life!!

Posting my formula for pain relief here also
Interesting you mentioned turmeric for pain relief. I just saw a post on Facebook for "yellow milk" which was milk with turmeric in it, for pain relief and other other health benefits. Hmmm...the universe must be trying to tell me something.
