I need an eating plan
Hi guys, thanks for the great advice and I will definately keep everything in mind. I have added some Wii games to put the fun into my routine. Thanks for the milestone idea Zeb, I am going to draft a list and a plan as soon as I get off work today Smile

Will try to keep posting as much as I can and of course, I will track my meals as much as possible

Thank you everyone, and Glaun, I will stick with exercise until I learn to enjoy it....

Thank you for everything Nadyno... and I don't feel you were questioning the doc's advice lol - it's good to show concern, how else would I do this right if my goal was off the charts?

I need an eating plan
Thanks everyone for responding. I can't believe how helpful everyone has been - others have sent me private messages and I've already received tons and tons of help.

There is a lot of information and I'm planning to sit through as much as I have time for each day to just read up. I have started to track what I'm eating (day 1 today) and it's surprisingly easy because I pre-tracked my lunch items at breakfast and I ate exactly what I tracked in the exact portions... I think this is great and so I'm gonna stick to tracking for now.

I know I'm the worst couch potato and I do want to learn to enjoy exercise - I just need to find something to like... walking isn't one of those - I've tried it and it didn't work. I have lots of other options and a friend of mine, after finding out that I needed help offered to help me train (using resistance bands) - she's a fitness instructor... She's made me make a list of all food I usually eat, and she marked the "bad" ones with a red marker. By the time she was done, she had that list completely red and here I was thinking I didn't have an eating problem... I knew chocolate and candy was an issue but my eyes are now open that I am using food without purpose (fuel and all that) but to just indulge in.

The goal weight was a suggestion from my doctor - well he suggested between 50 and 64 (I think). I'm 164cm tall and I'm 29. I've started using resistance bands (day 2 tonight) - the plan is 2 days resistance, followed by one day rest/cardio and so on.

I'll try the mini-goals as well, because someone suggested I create a spreadsheet with a breakdown of mini-goals made up of the ultimate goal... instead of looking at one large amount of weight to lose, I'd have it broken ito maybe 10 or 20 smaller goals - I was starting to feel intimidated by the whole thing until I got this.

Thanks again everyone for your suggestions and I will learn to DO IT ANYWAY especially during the times that I lose motivation Smile

I need an eating plan
Hi everyone,

I'm new here and this is my first post. I need help from anyone and everyone who might have suggestions on an eating and/ or exercise plan for me. All suggestions are important... I need serious help!

I started the year weighing about 124kg and I'm now at 113kg - the problem is that I'm stuck and am no longer inspired to eat healthy food only. This is how I got to lose a bit of weight initially.
