Hello I am a 50ish female who lives along the east coast USA. I am a nurse and do health coaching. I coach people with chronic diseases; diabetes, hypertension, heart disease and depression. Last summer, after telling countless people to lose weigh, I wondered if it was really actually possible to do so. I was 77 lbs overweight and was starting to have health problems myself.
So started the DIET. With the help of a great weight loss program (HMR) I lost 50 lbs. Now I am done with the program and on my own. Struggling to continue to keep the change in life style, to lose that last pounds and then maintain. A tough job for a working woman in a country where all the prepared food is so laden with extra sugar and fat.
I am looking for support and any ideas that work.
