what do you do to keep "cravings" away?
First off I try and reason with myself... ie -> getting 5 minutes of enjoyment for eating it.. then felling guilty and having to work harder for weeks..

Sometimes though reasoning just doesnt work so I try plan B. Might sound like a bad ideal but i have it. I'll take a smaller portion and eat it exactgly how I like it. Here's my reasoning... I love food and I know I won't be giving it up forever so I thinks it's ok to have a treat once in a while. You just have to keep it all in check. Once or twice a month won't kill you and it takes away the thought of being restricted and longing for old ways.

Alli?
Hey there.

I just bought Alli... it's supposed to be the first FDA approved weight loss aid and it's a lifestyle change.

I'm wondering if anyone has tried it or is using it now? I want to start but the side effects looks quite scary and being a teacher i can't just go to the washroom whenever need be... looking to see any thoughts or observations. I will be trying it during the holiday vacation.

Thanks.

I'm New
I'm by nature a very lazy person so I've had to push myself to do some at home weight training and i'm jogging. With 254 pounds it's hard to go far but i've been furthing my route every few weeks. But the best workout i do is DAnce Dance revolution. i bought the dance mat, the playstaion and game and i set it to workout mode and dance for a good 30-60 mins. Defiantely fun and motivating! Costs about $150 to get everything but definately a blast.

fat gal looks for a buddy to share the shrinking journey
Hey folks,
New to the site and looking for some buddies that are around my size and understand how it really is. I'd love to find someone who can be open and honest and not afraid to be real.

I'm currently 240, was 254 when I started and hoping to be 165 by July when I plan to be relazing in Greece. I'm currently super motivated, but a little afraid that it might wear out soon.

Hope to hear from you soon. Cheers!
