Hi, I'm 26 yrs old and a mom to one! I've always had a weight problem, and was able to lose 75lbs before my son was born with simple portion control and exercising. During pregnancy and after, I gained a lot back. I was then diagnosed with Graves' Disease and lost a lot of it with out trying. Medications did not work and I didn't qualify for Iodine treatment, so I had to have my thyroid removed in May 2011. Since then, I've been gaining weight back. I now know that I need to watch my Carbs and sugars. Two of my favorites! I need to stick to this and lose the weight so I feel healthy and am healthy.
