I have never tried a commercial diet EVER, but prefer to try and eat healthy and exercise more. I know where I go wrong each time, It's what passes my mouth :) With this new group, I hope that I will have the support and motivation to stay on track and actually achieve my goals. Off for a beach holiday in December and it would be just amazing if I have lost the weight. Imagine being able to wear bathers and not feel self-conscious. Wish me well on my journey to discover a better me.

Help!
I love chocolate too but this time round trying to lose the weight, I have been able to remain focused on reaching my goal and not sabotaging myself. Perhaps if you can't not crave chocolate, do some exercise to the equivalent calorie value of what you want to eat. Likely then that the impulse to sabotage yourself after a workout has wained and you have lost a little more - WIN WIN!

first month 18lb lost :-)
I'm amazed at the weight loss I've had in just three weeks - 10kg exactly! I thought the scales were lying this morning when I read them but after several more checks, they seem to be reading accurately. Have dropped a dress size which is great and now on 3 weeks holidays so I hope I don't fall into bad habits. Good luck losing the last 19lb. I have another 12.1kg to go (27lb!). I have been carrying this weight around for the last 5 or so years so I don't expect it to disappear straight away but Im hoping it will go.

Weight loss this week
Hi, I only recently joined this group when I found a recipe at work that someone had printed off the website. What a great find. I checked the site out that night and thought this is for me! I love how I can log in foods so easily and keep track of my exercise regime. It inspires me to keep on track better. My problem is that I weighed in this morning and my weight has come down by 4.4kg in one week. How is this possible? I am drinking heaps more water to stay hydrated and the only thing that I have done different this week is have a workout every day. Surely that can't be responsible for this change on the scales. Has this happened to anyone else.? This is my third week on my new healthy routine of good food and more exercise.
