Confession to Strangers or Trying to get out of Depression
I just started reading a book called "Spark" about how exercise effects the brain. The more exercise you do (mornings are best) the more your brain produces stress relieving chemicals which have proved as effective as taking an anti-depressant. This doesn't mean don't take your meds, but you can do both and start feeling like yourself again. That's my plan to start now.

Eating after work....
My cravings to eat late have been getting worse lately and I find two reasons for this: I am eating too many simple carbs and not enough protein; and watching t.v. T.v. has tons of ads for food and watching at night shows you plates of food and people being really happy eating them. This makes you want that too, so you start craving what you're seeing or something sweet or savory that you have in the house. There's a reason companies pay so much for advertising, it works. Watching t.v. is going to make you hungry especially if you're a visual person. I'm just glad the t.v. can't affect your sense of smell. I'd be done for!

Eating after work....
I think some of the reason we eat when we get home is that we are out of the sight of others eyes. I know I'd eat the bad stuff when I got home and wouldn't be judged. And, I think it's also the whole 'reward' scenario that was mentioned; you got through a tough day at work and here is your food treat. Women will always associate food with treats. I'm guilty of all this stuff. But I like not eating after 7 p.m., too!

Never hungry anymore?
I quit eating carbs and sugar and dairy and I have the same problem sometimes. You must force yourself to eat good food at lunch and then something good at dinner. I know it's exciting not to be hungry but weakness is a big one that backfires when your body finally says, " WTF, I need FOOD!" try and eat fruits veggies and a protein twice a day even if not in huge amounts and keep somehting healthy by to nibble on or snack on. It'll keep the weakness away and your body will not do a 180 on you.

Not working
muscle weighs more than fat and is denser so you're clothes will feel loser, but you may not see much on the scale. Also there may be a hidden food that is adding calories you aren't realizing (salad dressing is a HUGE one) and if you have a food allergy or taking certain medications that will also keep the lbs from falling off by bloating you. Hope it starts moving soon! good luck!!
